About the Warehouse

Our Warehouse team is the first point of contact for everything arriving at our site. From raw materials to packaging supplies, they carefully check, log, and organise every delivery to make sure we’ve got exactly what we need to keep production running smoothly. They’re quick, thorough, and always ready to roll up their sleeves — making sure nothing gets missed and everything’s where it should be.

Alex, Warehouse Specialist

What does your role involve?

My role here is Warehouse Specialist where I am responsible for implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, training and supervision of warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance regulations are met, maintaining the appropriate waste management procedures, conducting audits, monitoring and managing all warehouse MHE, preparing and maintaining reports on warehouse activities, issue resolution and collaborating with other departments within the business to align with company goals.

What’s the best bit about your job?

The best bit about my job is that every day is different. As a team we face many different challenges each day and we have a great team within the warehouse where everyone contributes and values others. Also, due to the nature of the work, this gives me and the team the opportunity to get to know everyone in other departments as we deal with them day in, day out – which solidifies department relations.

Why do you enjoy working for Bluetree Group?

I enjoy working for Bluetree Group because the company looks after their staff. Whether it be free commodities, team socials, long-year service gifts, or hiring food catering on site – we are all well looked after. Also, in the Warehouse we have a good set of colleagues and everyone supports one another so we have a strong team that all get on well.

Ivan, Lead Maintenance & Facilities Engineer

What does your role involve?

My role involves many aspects from facilities around Bluetree through to maintenance and repair of certain machines. I also get involved with improvement issues for work spaces and areas. For instance making the business card sorters or the giant table for Large Format. Many times a lot of up-cycling happens here to aid our green goals.

What’s the best bit about your job?

Working with a great team of guys in engineering and having a good team of bosses above us.

Why do you enjoy working for Bluetree Group?

A typical work day is never typical. One day you can be stripping a machine for a deep clean. The next you can be moving or installing brand new machines. There are NO dull moments. All the staff at Bluetree are always pleasant and genuinely keen to work as a team.

Charlie, Maintenance Planner

What does your role involve?

I’m the Maintenance Planner at Bluetree Group. This entails organizing and scheduling PPMs (planned preventative maintenance) for both internal and external engineers, to work around the busy production schedule — ensuring machines are down for the least amount of time possible. I also order all of the parts needed for PPMs or breakdowns, comparing prices to ensure we get the best quality parts for the best price.

What’s the best bit about your job?

The best part of my job is that every day is different and there are so many learning opportunities both in-house and through external training — giving me the best opportunity to develop my knowledge and career.
