Inside the Factory
As well as investing in our people, we are constantly investing in our equipment and technology to ensure that we are always using the latest generation kit. Keeping ahead of the curve means that we can exceed our customers expectations year after year.
Surgical Mask Manufacturing
As well as print pioneers, we’ve also adapted our offerings to play our part in getting the UK’s economy back up and running. The 2020 Coronavirus pandemic has already changed how many organisations work, from hygiene practices to social distancing. That’s why we launched Bluetree Mask Box, a medical-grade face mask subscription service to protect workers on the front line. Bluetree Mask Box has now become Bluetree Medical, we continue to produce Type IIR face masks as well as creating all new products to be put to market.
With our brilliant machine operators, a large empty factory, a biomedical scientist and a country in need of face masks, we knew we were well-equipped to meet this demand – and we’ve certainly learnt a lot along the way.
From creating dedicated clean rooms and registering medical devices, to European testing standard certification, we’re proud of the journey we’ve been on to become the UK’s first manufacturer of this standard of face mask, ensuring we can help those who need it the most.
We are committed to a long term vision within the Medical market, now developing multiple new innovative products, that will be sold globally. As well as continuing to produce type IIR masks.
And We Have Fun…
Our Charity & Events team are always cooking up ideas for us to have fun, so there’s always something around the corner. Check out our social media pages or the gallery below for some of our recent events including Bluetree Group’s annual Sports Day, Fancy Dress for Halloween and our regular fundraising events for our Charity of the Year. In 2019 we raised over £11,000 for our charity of the year Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. In 2021 we were proud to support Crisis South Yorkshire who are based within a mile of our offices in Wath -Upon-Dearne. Our 2022 charity of the year is The Sick Childrens Trust , who help families across the UK in many different ways, when young children get sick. We are hosting a number of activities like a 40 person skydive, to raise money.
