About Large Format
Our Large Format team is a key part of our production operation creating Posters, Flags, Banners, Signs and much more. They work with a range of materials including vinyl, fabric, and paper, depending on the product requirements. The team ensures every piece is produced to the highest standard, whether it’s a single custom banner or a large volume order. Their attention to detail and technical expertise ensure that each product leaving the department is of the highest quality.

What does your role involve?
My role involves overseeing equipment of large format as well as developing products and coming up with new solutions to improve current processes.
What’s the best bit about your job?
There is always a new challenge and no day is the same. It’s also good to feel like you are implementing changes for the better.
Why do you enjoy working for Bluetree Group?
I enjoy working at Bluetree for the people and as it’s something I have grown up with, my Dad working here for 35 years plus. It’s been a part of my life since a young age and I’ve seen how it’s changed and developed.
Glyn, Head of Operations – Large Format
What does your role involve?
Head of Operations in LF means overseeing the team of Supervisors and operators in the department, focusing on the department KPI’s and planning future tasks and expansion. I am ultimately responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of printing in LF. I oversee all aspects of production and distribution, ensuring that the department achieves its operational goals and objectives.
What’s the best bit about your job?
It’s a very fast-paced department that has recently gone through huge changes and major investment in new machinery and products — it’s a very exciting and special place to work.
What’s the best part about being the Head of Operations?
I get to work with some great people and make key decisions that push the department to achieve its goals. When that happens, it’s a great feeling. Being at the heart of the department and having a key role in its development and future is amazing.
